Sandvik TH550 comparision

 

Almost five years after creating my Sandvik TH550 model I finally had a chance to take pictures comparing it to real machine.

Forest Tractor

This model was built for a contest. Features pneumatically operated arm, rear blade, HOG steering, pendular suspension on front axle, working fake R4 engine and winch. MAN TGS 8x4 Tow Truck

8x4 heavy tow truck. My most complex model. Features remote drive & steering, motorized front, rear, & side winches, pneumatic compressor, elevated & extended boom with towing arm, side and rear outriggers, front and rear lights, elevated lightbar, cabin with fully detailed interior and opening doors.

Minifig scale model of Caterpillar motor grader. Features pneumatically operated blade & ripper, and HOG steering.

Heavy tow truck. My most complex construction up to date. Features remote drive & steering, elevated axle #2, rear & side outriggers,pneumatic operated towing arm, rotated, elevated & extended boom, dual drum winch, engine model, opened doors and bonnet, lights and custom chromed parts.
